To be so careful that you won’t use paid XP for a shrine bonus, commit it to permanently unlocking a skill you like. The skill is permanently unlocked, but you shouldn’t wait until you start the newly inserted saver. If you unlock a skill for 500 XP and then try to permanently unlock it, that second cash won’t go away, as long as you hit a game over. The ability to unlock and even unlock XP is not preserved between runs, but the effort you make towards extending the skills is made. The truth is that I’ve had a hard time beating Sifu, and I suspect I’ll never be the only one (he’s not very polite). Sifu is really super easy and you’re breezing through it, I’ll say it too. Is it actually hard or is it not done right? I was playing to a early copy of Sifu, so I was able to create a war against the enemy without trying to compare it to others.
